“All of us at SIPAC are extremely pleased to be able to have Patrick join us as a senior advisor. He has unmatched experience and connections in the legal profession not only throughout Asia and MENA but also across Europe and beyond. Patrick and I have known each other for nearly two decades, and over that time we have engaged in a wide range of interesting and innovative professional collaborations. His vision for the development of a broader legal community comprised of both in-house legal counsel and law firm lawyers in China and around the world perfectly matches the vision and mission of SIPAC. We are excited to work closely together in this new capacity.”
Patrick Dransfield commented:
“I am honoured to be invited and thrilled to be able to contribute to the Sino International Professional Advisory Council and especially at the prospect of working directly with Robert Lewis. Robert and I share the same values and the same mission regarding the continual holistic education of the international legal profession through the building of a global community of lawyers and legal professionals based on trade, mutual respect, and ethical values. In its short history, SIPAC already enjoys a sterling reputation regarding the building of a community of legal professionals throughout the world. Education breeds confidence, confidence breeds hope and hope breeds peace.”
About SIPAC:
SIPAC was formally launched in March of 2023 and held its inaugural Sino-International Law Forum in Shanghai in November 2023, attended by nearly 250 leading lawyers from around the world and across China, including more than 40 foreign lawyers from leading independent law firms covering more than 50 jurisdictions around the world, nearly 100 senior in-house legal and compliance professionals from leading Chinese companies, and more than 100 lawyers from leading Red Circle law firms as well as lawyers included on the Ministry of Justice’s list of top 1000 cross-border lawyers in China.
